Welcome to Your First Visit - What to Expect
Reserving 90 minutes for your initial exam, you will be met by one of our highly-skilled hygienists. To begin your appointment we will review your medical history and discover what is most important to you and your dental needs. This information helps tailor your custom treatment plan with YOUR needs in mind. We will then complete comprehensive records which include a full series of digital images or CT scan, intra-oral photos, oral cancer and TMJ exam, periodontal (gum) assessment, impressions for whitening, diagnodent laser readings to evaluate the strength of your enamel, and an appropriate cleaning. We hope to create an educational experience, one that will allow you to create the best decisions for maintaining optimal oral health.
Cancellation Policy
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you, and we are looking forward to seeing you! We understand that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. We request 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment by leaving us a voicemail 541-386-4255 option 1 or 2, or sending us an email hrdental@hoodriverdentist.com and letting us know you will not be able to make your appointment time. After missing your second appointment without giving us 48 hours notice, you will be subject to a cancellation fee of $50. Missing your reserved time without notice considered a no-show. Why do we charge a cancellation fee?
We would love to never charge our valued patients a cancellation fee, however when you have a scheduled appointment, we have scheduled this time specifically for YOU, and canceling your appointment, less than 48 hours prior to your appt really does not give us adequate time, in many cases, to fill this valuable spot. The spot we have reserved for you is your time; your time with our amazing providers, to ask questions, receive education, be cared for, and receive the highest quality dental health care available anywhere. Please know we are excited to see you, and engage with you in improving your health. We value you and your time so please in turn value our teams time and efforts. We appreciate you!!!
